Jim Conkle and Jake McKnight

Jim and Jake fished diligently to regain their rank as Points Champions. The two finished in the top three nine times with six of those in first place. They finished in the top five fifteen of the total twenty tournaments fished and consistently caught fish every tournament to accomplish their goal to become the 2010 Points Champions.

First Place Fish Off 2010
Paul Kolberg & John Bennett

Paul and John won this year's fish off with 10 fish (five fish each day) for a total of 19.94 pounds. They took home $1,230 and plaques for their efforts.

They finished strong for the Fish Off and finished in eighth place overall for the year.

Second Place Fish Off 2010
Fred Tietz (alternate for Walt Neubig) and Norm Neubig

Fred and Norm placed second in the fish off with ten fish (five fish each day) for a total of 19.93 pounds for two days. Don't think this one could have been any closer! They took home $495 and plaques.

Third Place Fish Off 2010
Barry Gaston and Bob Romage

Barry and Bob finished in third place with ten fish (five fish each day) for a two day total of 19.08 pounds taking with them $370 and plaques.

Big Bass Fish Off 2010
Jim Conkle 4.70 pounds

Jim landed the Big Bass plaque for the two day tournament and $160.

Here's the rest of the story...upon completing the regular season and making the fish off, those eligible teams fished two days from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m....the daily limit is five fish per boat...any team bringing in a dead fish or short fish incur a one pound penalty for each dead and/or short fish*....here's the results...

*All fish were released alive. Two day total of 145 bass caught and released.
